About that whole "Evil Empire" thing...

Our President has been roundly lambasted and excoriated for referring to an evil empire, comprised of Iran, Iraq and North Korea.  He was accused of taking his eye off of the ball in the war on terror, which to the elite left apparently means to kill Osama Bin Laden, declare victory and disband the armed forces.  Associated Press now reports that we have intercepted shipments of material that Iran was using to build an intercontinental ballistic missile capable of reaching the United States.  We know that Iran has been aggressively developing nuclear weapons.  We know that Iran has been fitting the Shahab-3 missile so that it could deliver a nuclear strike.  Could it be that the left was wrong yet again about President Bush?

"When it comes to sniffing out evil on this Earth, our President is expert.  Iran has received aid in developing these ICBMs from -- guess who -- North Korea and China!"

When it comes to sniffing out evil on this Earth, our President is expert.  Iran has received aid in developing these ICBMs from -- guess who -- North Korea and China!  Iran is a known haven for terrorists of many brands, and they presently seek more force to subjugate their own people to their brand of Islam.  They have harbored Al Qaeda operatives, and provided them safe passage from Afghanistan through Iran to attack our forces in Iraq.  Now they are developing nukes and ICBMs, trying to hit us.  Evil?  I think so.

They are trying to save their own evil skins by rushing to deploy a nuclear threat that can hit both the UK and the USA.  That cannot stand.  I have the sinking feeling that our President will have to do something soon, before his only option is nuclear.  So, President Bush, it’s time to put Iran on notice:  Drop all nuclear development activity, including missile development of any kind.  The result of non-compliance will be the business end of the United States Armed Forces.  If you think that won’t scare them, remember that Saddam will be watching the January 30 Iraqi elections from a prison cell.  If, in effect, the leaders of Iran are madmen who need to be deposed by force, we have the high-quality armed force needed to make mincemeat of them.

George W. Bush, a patriot’s patriot, protected this land from a bunch of evil thugs that think that the last 1300 years of progress must be reversed at all costs.  There’s no way he’ll pull a Bill Clinton and let a deadly enemy obtain nukes on his watch (as North Korea did while Mr. Clinton was in the White House).

"Is it not refreshing to know that we have a president who loves his country for real and takes his oath of office as seriously as, well, an oath?  I think it is."

So, while G.W. Bush could easily gloat in the faces of the left, he won’t.  Instead he will get down to the business of protecting us, as required by his oath of office.  Is it not refreshing to know that we have a president who loves his country for real and takes his oath of office as seriously as, well, an oath?  I think it is.  Evil Empire, watch out.  Those ICBMs have painted a big target on your chests.
