Senate Democrats Demonstrate Terror at Nuclear Option

Robert Byrd, ex Ku Klux Klansman, and member of the Democratic party, is the most senior member of the Senate.  On March 1, he stood up in the Senate and compared the GOP Senate Caucus, elected by you, the people, to Hitler and those who persecute Christians.  Why?  Because they want to hold the Senate to the provisions of the Constitution and keep the Democrats from threatening to filibuster our President’s judicial nominees.  Why?  Our beloved Dr. Frist, Senate Majority Leader, has amassed 52 votes to enact the Nuclear Option.  Therefore Senator Grand Wizard stands up to complain and slander his colleagues because his attempts to exercise racism (most of the blocked judicial nominees are women and/or minorities) under the pretense of "advise and consent" are about to fail.

Teddy "Chappaquidick" Kennedy has threatened to shut down the business of the Senate in case the Nuclear Option is deployed.  What the media forgets to say is that the Nuclear option can be used to completely eliminate the Filibuster!  This would, if enacted, fufill the dream of Timothy Noah, liberal writer, when he wrote "Abolish the Filibuster!" for Slate in 2001.  Of course, right and wrong for liberals is determined not by goodness and morality, but instead by self-expediency.  So, in 2005, the filibuster is sorely needed to prevent freedom from taking hold in the judiciary.  So Mr. Noah’s article in Slate would likely be considered "obsolete" by these selfish despots.

Dr. Frist, that wonderful man, appeared with Jim Lehrer and in essence said that all nominees get an up-or-down vote or the Nuclear Option will be deployed.  Hurrah!  Dr. Frist is following our advice, as well as the unanimous voice of the GOP punditry.  I agree with Rush -- if Dr. Frist goes Nuclear, he becomes a prime candidate for the Oval Office in 2008.  I am thrilled, because the people, in their wisdom, have recently made it clear that they want a conservative judiciary.  The people, in their wisdom, have made it clear that they do not tolerate obstructionism in the Senate.

Therefore, the Nuclear Option, with the salutary effect of streamlining the judicial nomination process, is in obedience to the will of the people.  The Senate exists to represent the States before the Federal Government, and hence, the people in those states.  The Dino-Senators like "Grand Wizard" Byrd and "Chappaquidick Teddy" Kennedy complain that we are taking away the voice of the minority, that is untrue.  We are simply not letting the minority control the majority where it is not permitted by the Constitution!

If the Democrats want the ability to stop judicial nominees by requiring a three-fifths vote for confirmation, then let them enact an amendment to the Constitution to do so.  All they need is two-thirds of each house to concur, and then three-fourths of the states.  If, as Teddy Kennedy deludes, the Democrats represent the "majority" viewpoint, then this amendment should not be hard to enact.  Of course, we know that will never happen.  The people realize the truth:  that liberals are the true evil, not conservatives as Howard Dean falsely alleges.  The people realize the truth:  that liberals are the true racists, not conservatives.  The people realize the truth:  that liberals want to subjugate them to the power of government programs (of liberal making and administration) that rule over their lives, while conservatives want to enshrine their freedoms and give the people control over their lives, as is their right.

The Nuclear Option, as we have previously written, is central to ensuring the right of the people to elect a fully functional president of their choice.  The shrinking minority of Democrats in the Senate are terrified of the idea of judges that want to enforce the Constitution as written.  They want judges that will use judicial fiat to impose their own tyranny over the people.  It is important to remember that the liberals in DC are looking for ways to subjugate the people to their will.  Since the people have soundly rejected their policies of dependence and evil tyranny, the libs are reduced to using the judiciary to impose their whims under the guise of the rule of law.

I find it ironic that Grand Wizard Byrd used the line that Hitler always had the cover of law for his actions.  How true.  How true indeed!  The racists and tyrants in the Senate minority want the cover of Senate Rules, their version of "law," for their attempt to impose a supermajority where the Constitution does not require one.  Luckily for us, the libs have no place to go with their whining but further into oblivion.  From what I see in the news, it’s only a matter of time before there is a Nuclear event in the Senate.
