How Howard Dean Personifies Hypocrisy

Howard Dean viciously attacked Rush Limbaugh when speaking before a group of America-hating mindless left-wing dictators-in-waiting, oops, I mean liberals.  In this speech, he derided and then disgustingly mocked Rush for cocaine addiciton, which is a blatant lie; Rush had an addiction, now beaten, to the prescription painkiller OxyContin.  This addicition was furthermore not brought about by recreational drug use to get a "buzz."  It was a result of being forced by a medical condition to take the medicine in order to make it through the day without horrific pain.  Rush admitted the addiciton, checked himself into a treatment center, and beat it.

"Mr. Dean as head of the Democratic National Committee, is the titular leader of the party that is supposedly the ’compassionate’ one.  But the Democrats’ putative compassion is limited solely to liberals."

Now, Rush Limbaugh certainly does not need me to defend him.  Rush is more than capable of defending himself.  I therefore write this to express my outrage at Howard Dean and his consummate hypocrisy.  Mr. Dean as head of the Democratic National Committee, is the titular leader of the party that is supposedly the "compassionate" one.  But the Democrats’ putative compassion is limited solely to liberals.  If Bill Clinton commits actual perjury, a federal crime under 28 USC § 1746, well, it’s "just about sex" (meaning adultery, a cause for faulted divorce in this country) and it should be excused.  If Barack Obama, the rising star of the leftists, admits cocaine use (obviously recreational and illegal), it’s an act of courage.  If Rush admits being hooked on a drug legitimately prescribed for real pain, he is worse than Satan and Howard Dean gets applause for lying about and mocking the man.

As I write this I am listening to www.wlsam.com/listenlive.asp to Eileen Byrne.  As an aside, watch this woman.  Soon she will be a nationally-prominent voice for the Conservative movement.  She is articulate and sensible, and is nobody’s sycophant.  Back on point, Ms. Byrne correctly notes that the leftists stand for nothing.  Their whole argument appears to be that Rush sucks, Bush sucks, Rumsfeld sucks, Rice sucks, Pope Benedict XVI sucks and Dick Cheney really sucks.  What’s even more appalling is that they cannot even field a plausible explanation as to why these people supposedly suck.  So Howard Dean gets raucous applause by childishly mocking a man whose left pinky finger is ten times more successful than Mr. Dean will ever be.

"This is why the leftists are losing all popular support.  They have no ideas.  Why is Social Security Reform bad?  They resort to unexplained and unsupported demagoguery to attempt to terrify people into forcing Congress to vote in a continued agenda of dependence."

This is why the leftists are losing all popular support.  They have no ideas.  Why is Social Security Reform bad?  They resort to unexplained and unsupported demagoguery to attempt to terrify people into forcing Congress to vote in a continued agenda of dependence.  They have no care for anyone’s futures except their own; their opposition is based on forcing people to depend on the government, and especially for their continuance in office, for money to survive.  They are opposed to the Iraq war because they want to make the president look bad by letting terrorists kill us.  Bush took the fight to the bad guys and the left cannot stand it.  They thrive on bad news for America.

Now look at us.  Conservatives want to set up a protected private account system.  Why?  So that you may be independent of the government!  Is this merely a designed tactic to force people to vote Republican?  How could it be?  The GOP is not trying to put a lasso on your neck and rein you in with the fear of losing benefit money.  Tax cuts benefit all of us.  But the class-warfare lying rhetoric of the left is designed to make you believe that you will pay more taxes and the rich will pay none.  The facts refute this.  The top 50% of income earners pay 96.03% of all tax dollars (source: IRS).  These hypocrites tell you that conservatives are evil because they want you to be free?  Insane.

What is more compassionate?  Hooking you onto a government dole and taking away your right to vote with fear of losing your handout, or giving you more money via independence and self-reliance.  What is more compassionate?  Punishing the most productive Americans with higher tax rates (they already pay more tax dollars even if they are taxed at the same rate) and losing you a job in the process or cutting the taxes to permit the productive people to flourish and enable them to give you a raise?  What is more compassionate?  Forcing you to go to government-run schools that are in essence left-wing indoctrination centers that would amaze Goebbels? Forcing you to go to these schools where union rules preserve the jobs of the lousy teachers and the budgets are bloated with excessive administrative and clerical expenses?  Or is it more compassionate to give you the choice to put your child where he or she will be taught well and where you parents have controls to ensure that your children’s values are not corrupted?

The left loudly shouts their hypocrisy from the mountaintops.  It’s all too easy to see and hear it.  Howard Dean is the "dean" of compassion for the left wing agenda, and the dean of lying, merciless and childish mockery of the right.
