Stealing a Country, Ohio Style

Today is November 8, 2005.  And today, the extreme Left is making their first move to steal the country away from Conservatives, who the people clearly want to run things.  And their move, designed to permit the theft of the Congress in 2006 and the White House in 2008, is on the ballot in Ohio today in the form of four proposed amendments to the Ohio Constitution.  They are known as Issues 2, 3, 4 and 5.  Issue 2 would allow "mail ballots" as soon as 35 days before an election.  The amendment does not prescribe any measures to ensure that the voter who casts a mail ballot.  Issue 3 would dramatically limit campaign contributions to Ohio state office candidates.  Issue 4 would take redistricting and hand it off to an "independent commission," with a specific goal to make each congressional and Ohio legislative district as evenly Democratic and Republican as possible.  Issue 5 would strip the Ohio Secretary of State of all election supervision duties and assign those to a "bipartisan" commission.

"Taken together, and in light of rampant liberal vote fraud in the 2004 federal election, these ballot initiatives are designed to strip the GOP of every elected office, its congressional seats and the legislature."

Taken separately, these "reforms" do not seem that onerous.  Taken together, and in light of rampant liberal vote fraud in the 2004 federal election, these ballot initiatives are designed to strip the GOP of every elected office, its congressional seats and the legislature.  Do you think that I am paranoid?  Remember that liberals in Ohio managed, in 2004, to register Mary Poppins, Dick Tracy, Illinois resident and NBA legend Michael Jordan, and Texas resident and boxing legend George Foreman.  They were alleged to have paid some voter registration operatives in cocaine for their efforts.  The sole protector of a fair election in 2004 was GOP Secretary of State Ken Blackwell, who of course, as an African-American Republican, was treated by Liberals to racist insults.  John Kerry lost Ohio by 149,000 votes in 2004, but the wackos accused the GOP of stealing the election.

Reform Ohio Now, the group pushing these efforts, is a liberal activist group.  And the scheme they concocted is quite audacious and impressive.  Let’s consider:  Liberals redistrict Ohio to make the seats in both the legislature and the Congress "competitive" using the powers in Issue 4.   An election comes up, and liberals create tens of thousands of fake "votes" using the mail ballots in Issue 2.  The powerless Secretary of State can do nothing to protect the integrity of the election, having in issue 5 been stripped of his power to do so.  Instead a "bipartisan" panel deadlocks on what to do.  Liberals get in.  Now, they are untouchable since campaign contributions are severely limited by Issue 3.

"Now comes 2008.  Rampant vote fraud, aided by a dejected GOP base turning out lower than expected, tilts Ohio to the Blue State column.  While the Democratic candidate loses the popular election by a substantial margin, he or she is President because of a stolen Ohio vote."

Now comes 2008.  Rampant vote fraud, aided by a dejected GOP base turning out lower than expected, tilts Ohio to the Blue State column.  While the Democratic candidate loses the popular election by a substantial margin, he or she is President because of a stolen Ohio vote.  Safeguards against voter fraud are not implemented because liberals in the legislature are, like all liberals, concerned only with winning.  Integrity has nothing to do with their acquisition of power that they believe is their birthright.

Who can prevent this horrible outcome?  You.  If you reside in Ohio, GO VOTE NO to issues 2, 3, 4 and 5.  If you do not reside in Ohio, but know someone that does, call or email him or her and tell that person to go vote NO to 2, 3, 4 and 5.  Even if we defeat nothing but issues 2 and 5, the liberals cannot steal elections.  Right now, issue 4 is the only one that appears to be in severe jeopardy.  We need to go vote NO -- if we are lawfully registered in Ohio.  If the dark side wins this here, they’ll try it everywhere things may be close.  This kind of anti-American legislation needs to be smacked down, in order to preserve our rights.
