Liberal Racists Coming out of Hiding

The Left thinks that it is going to win it all in 2006 and 2008, notwithstanding pesky little things like facts.  Their overconfidence has led to hubris.  And this hubris has caused the Left to become so arrogant that it is now starting to flaunt the racism that has always been there, hidden slightly below the surface.  The Left is letting its racism come out into the open.  In my opinion, their haughty racism is going to result in their total downfall.

" ’But John, how is the Left racist?’ ... Ask Michael Steele, the black GOP Lt. Governor of Maryland, who has been pelted -- by Liberals -- with Oreo cookies and called ’Sambo’ in one prominent Leftist Blog."

"But John, how is the Left racist?"  Ask Senator Robert Byrd (D-Ku Klux Klan), a Klansman who uses the word "nigger" in daily conversation to this day.  Ask Al Franken, who has had over 100 assistants and other employees over the years; only one of whom is black.  Ask Michael Steele, the black GOP Lt. Governor of Maryland, who has been pelted -- by Liberals -- with Oreo cookies and called "Sambo" in one prominent Leftist Blog.  Ask Howard Dean, rich white heir to the Dean Witter fortune, who had zero black senior staffers in his 2004 Presidential campaign, and who refuses to apologize for the Steele incidents.

Ask Clarence Thomas, who was said to be black with "an asterisk," because he is Conservative.  Ask Condoleeza Rice, who was cartooned as our President’s "House Nigga," to the wild applause of the Left, and told to hand over her hair straightener, in easily the most vile comic strip I have ever had the misfortune to see.  Condi is constantly being referred to, unapologetically, as not truly "black," because she is a Republican.  Ask Colin Powell, who has also been called "not truly black" by Harry Belafonte.  Ask Michelle Malkin, who Liberals routinely refer to as "gook," "slanteyes" and "dog eater," because of her views.

Every single one of these sickening acts, the Oreo Peltings, use of the term "Uncle Tom," the cartoon at the left, and every failure of the Democratic Leadership to condemn these acts, are racist.  Every person who fails to speak out about these things is a racist.  Silence is approval.  Howard Dean, with a belated, half-hearted pullback, is implicitly endorsing the racism of those in his party.

Sadly, this is to be expected.  The Democratic Party has been the traditional home of racists since long before the Civil War.  The Democrats were the ones who bucked Truman and JFK (who were conservative) and fought all efforts at racial equality.  The Democrats, including Robert Byrd, were the ones who filibustered civil rights laws.  Yet Robert Byrd, who is on tape using the word "nigger" recently, was recently feted by Hillary Clinton in Frederick Douglass’ home!  Can you feel the earthquake from Douglass spinning in his grave?  Hillary Clinton, by celebrating this white-sheet Klansman’s birthday in the home of a civil rights legend, has declared her putrid racism to all.

This has to be the standard.  Every person, Conservative or Liberal, regardless of race or creed, who states, or refuses to condemn, any racist statement or act, must be regarded as a racist himself or herself.  Let us see who is racist and who is not by their deeds.
