Democrats Crushed by more Iraqi Successes

Howard Dean’s worst night terrors are coming true.  Not only is the Iraq war not "unwinnable," but we’re securing the victory more and mre with each passing day.  Now the news from Iraq is so good that the mainstream media cannot figure out how to spin it against our President!  Last night, on ABC News, Elizabeth Vargas spoke of turnout that was higher than anyone expected, with terrorist acts far lower than anyone expected.  This left me with the nagging question:  When will John Murtha physically explode?  His words have done far more damage than any terrorist bombs in Iraq -- oops, Murtha tells us that there are no terrorists in Iraq, only an "insurgency."

"Frankly, however, it does not matter what the white-flag turncoats on the left do.  Our brave and valiant President is not about to surrender to people whose morals are so low that they blow up Muslim children and newlyweds."

Frankly, however, it does not matter what the white-flag turncoats on the left do.  Our brave and valiant President is not about to surrender to people whose morals are so low that they blow up Muslim children and newlyweds.  In fact, the one Iraqi lady who, when interviewed when finished voting had it right when she said that all of our President’s naysayers can "go to hell."  I could not agree more!

This incredible string of good news, which has grabbed our President’s poll numbers and is sending them up like an Apollo rocket, has to be crushing to all of those who hate his guts.  I know that John Kerry said this wek that "when" the Democrats take the house in 2006 (Dream on, Senator, Dream on), they will vote in articles of impeachment for alleged lies about intelligence.  But there were none.  Some of the intelligence was of low quality, and our President has cleaned house at the CIA.  The Dems have to talk a good game, but they have to know their fate as well as Stanley Williams did his at 11:59PM on the 12th.

"The Democrats are looking at an economy that refuses to be slowed down, notwithstanding the left’s most assiduous efforts.  The  Dow is flirting with 11,000 two days after the Fed hiked the interest rates again."

The Democrats are looking at an economy that refuses to be slowed down, notwithstanding the left’s most assiduous efforts.  The  Dow is flirting with 11,000 two days after the Fed hiked the interest rates again.  Then the inflation news came in with deflation, as gas prices fell like Democrats jumping off buildings the day after Election day 2006.  Even taking out that freefall, inflation was very low, and the Fed has indicated that we are on the last rate hike for now.

What this stunningly successful election means, more than anything, is that we’re going to be able to start reducing our force size in Iraq sooner than we thought.  This will make for lots of happy people at home, unless we have to go into Iran.  And that’s my only worry. Not because going into Iran would be a political disaster.  Far from it, an Iranian war would be a great thing for our political power.  But such a war would be very bloody.  Iran is terrified of what has happened in Iraq.  Their new president shares much more in common with Hitler than normal people.  Iran’s government does not want their people to have freedom.  Iran likes succeeding Saddam as the terrorists’ best friend.  And that is why the notion of Iranian nukes should scare the beejezus out of any sane person.  But Iran is not a war zone, and let’s hope for our heroic troops’ sake that it does not become one soon.

"Iraq is secure.  In fact, as the terror bombings dwindle (that’s the thing about suicide bombers, they cannot live to fight another day), and the people taste their freedom, the terrorists will continue to be handed to the Iraqi police -- by Iraqis."

Iraq is secure.  In fact, as the terror bombings dwindle (that’s the thing about suicide bombers, they cannot live to fight another day), and the people taste their freedom, the terrorists will continue to be handed to the Iraqi police -- by Iraqis.  And, now that the media cannot find any grumblers, they have to report the truth -- the Iraqis love us and what we did for them.  The Democrats are truly the white-flag cowards that the RNC ad so eloquently showed, not with RNC scripted words, but with the words of the cowards themselves.

It’s crushing for the Democrats.  Crushing in 2006, crushing in 2008 (after all, they cannot get a pro-war candidate nominated in their extremist-dominated party).  It is true that the opera isn’t over until the fat lady sings.  That has not happened, but she is warming up her vocal cords.  S’about Time!!
